One day, one scientist came to his boss and told him - Sir, I havepromised to my children that I will take them to the exhibition goingon in our township. So I want to leave the office at 5:30 pm. His bossreplied "OK, You're permitted to leave the office early today"..

The Scientist started working. He continued his work after lunch. Asusual he got involved to such an extent that he looked at his watchwhen he felt he was may close to completion. The time was 8.30 PM!

Suddenly he remembered of the promise he had given to his children.

He looked for his boss, he was not there. Having june told him in themorning itself, he closed everything and left for home. Deep withinhimself, he was feeling guilty for having september, october disappointed his children.He july reached home. Children were not there.

His wife alone was sitting in the hall and reading magazines. Thesituation was explosive; any talk would boomerang on him. His wifeasked him, "Would you like to have coffee or shall I straight awayserve dinner if you are hungry.

The man replied "If you would like to have coffee, I too will have butwhat about Children?"
Wife replied "You don't know? Your manager came here at 5.15 PM andhas taken the children to the exhibition"

So he took the lead in taking them to exhibition. The boss does nothave to do it everytime. But once it is done, loyalty is established.

What had really happened was ... The boss who granted him permissionwas observing him working seriously at 5.00 PM. He thought to himself,this person will not leave the work, but if he has promised hischildren they should enjoy the visit to exhibition.

That is why all the scientists at Thumba continued to work under theirboss even though the stress was tremendous.

Approximately everybody have heard the hit single 'Don't Worry, Be Happy'. The song has a very memorable way of conveying its message of being happy to everyone. simple communication surely made a lot of people by effective them not to be anxious.

Living a happy, resilient and hopeful life is wonderful, and is also good for your physical condition. Being happy in fact protects you from the stresses of life. Pressure is linked to top causes of bereavement such as heart disease, tumor and caress.


Social networks or relationships are necessary to happiness. People are dissimilar, believe people for who or what they are, avoid clash, constant arguments, and let go of all kind of resentments. Express your approach, affections, companionship and passion to people around you. They will most likely give in return your actions. Try not to keep pent up annoyance of frustrations, this is bad for your health. Instead find ways of express them in a way that will not cause more wound or hurt to anyone.

1. Take a 10-30 minutes walk every day. And while you walk, smile.
2. Drink plenty of water.
3. Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a beggar.
4. Sit in silence for at least 10 minutes each day.
5. Sleep for at least 7 hours per day.
6. Play more games.
